Configured for 10Base-T networks, the LGE is responsible for routing
BACnet data including Events, Schedules and Trends to WebCTRL. A 9-pin EIA-232
is provided for BACnet/PTP capability, including control of an external dial-up
modem.
Full Ethernet compatibility for new and existing networks - 10Base-T
connections are simply implemented with a twisted pair and RJ45 connectors.
Supports BACnet/IP (Annex J) and BACnet/IP with PAD (Annex H) for maximum
flexibility. Can serve as a router between these two networks.
Compact, robust design for backplane mounting.
Efficient routing of global information for optimum network performance.
Offers full arbitration between multiple users for multi-user
applications.
Uses native BACnet communications over ARCNET 156 kbps - the ASHRAE
industry standard protocol for system interoperability.
Supports up to 100 individual control programs when used in a WebCTRL
system. System-wide control schemes can be written in ALC's legendary EIKON Graphic Programming Language and implemented in an LGE.
Multiple ports including Ethernet, high speed ARCNET 156 kbps, one EIA-232
connector and mini-DIN connector for direct network access. Each LGE supports
up to 98 M-line, S-line, UNI and Portal controllers in any combination. And
for projects in excess of 98 controllers, multiple LGEâs (up to 199) can be
networked on Ethernet, providing ample future expansion capability.
